This post is well over a month overdue... better late than never I suppose! Since Sonya and Akela have January birthdays just 3 days apart (and 3 years) we have been having combined birthday parties! That way mommy doesn't feel even more frazzled just 2 weeks after Christmas week. This year the girls wanted a simple favorite colors theme! Blue and purple it was!
There aren't as many pictures here as I would love to share, but I don't have permission to post photos that include Akela's friends. Actually, make that one friend who was able to make it. We have been keeping it low key with the amount of friends who are invited. Kid parties get crazy and we also like to have our family there! Unfortunately our house is not big enough to contain that much fun! I think Akela will be having her own kid party next year separate from the family party like we did for Zoe.

That Tinkerbell costume is so cute! I'm glad Simon could make it. Was Evelyn there? Love those cakes! I am just getting into cookie decorating - did 2 doz large hearts for Valentines Day. We had a small cookie decorating party and they turned out great. So much fun!!! I love your cakes! Akela's sounds very healthy and Sonya's sounds delicious!
